Card payments for your website, paid into your local bank.

Online payment acceptance for Caribbean businesses. Our team sets it up with you, from contacting your bank to your first sale, and Lefan takes no transaction fees.

Three ways to take payments with Lefan

Choose one below to see how it works.

Install the plugin; customers pay on a secure page; the order completes in WooCommerce.

Your bank can give you a merchant account. Lefan makes it work on your website, and our team does it with you.

Your customers pay on a page with your name on it.

Card details are entered on secure page, never on your website. It looks like part of your business.

  • Your logo and colours, so customers know exactly who they're paying.
  • The amount in your chosen currency, like $120.00 XCD or $85.00 USD.
  • The order summary, which your customer checks and confirms before paying.
  • Test mode first: try it yourself, with no real charges, before you go live.

Safe for your customers. And for you.

How we keep payments safe

Card details never touch your website.

Customers type their card on a secure page. Your website never sees or stores a card number, so there's nothing on it to steal.

Suspicious payments wait for you.

Fraud screening checks payments as they come in. If one looks risky, it's held, not charged, until you accept or reject it from the order.

Bots can't test stolen cards.

A quiet check stops bots before a card is tried, and each payment link allows only a few attempts.

Nobody is charged twice.

If the bank is slow to answer, Lefan checks before anything else happens, and tells your customer not to pay again.

We never hold your money.

Your own bank pays card payments into the business account you already use. Lefan is the connection, not a middleman for your money.

And there are no transaction fees: no percentage, no per-sale charge. Just one flat monthly price.

Your bank's usual card fees apply.

We're with you at every step.

Getting started

Do I need a merchant account?

Yes, a card merchant account from your local bank. If you do not have one, we help you get it: what to ask for, the paperwork, and following up.

Does it work if my website isn’t on WooCommerce?

Yes. We can build you a checkout or booking page that runs on Lefan. For developers, our API is coming soon.

What if I change banks?

Tell us. We swap in your new bank’s details, and your website and checkout stay exactly as they are.

Is there a contract?

No. You pay month to month and can cancel any time.

How do I pay for Lefan?

After we talk, we email you a secure payment link to start your monthly subscription.

Money and fees

Does Lefan hold my money?

No. Your bank pays card payments into your business account. Lefan connects your website to your bank; the money never passes through us.

Does Lefan charge transaction fees?

No. Lefan takes no transaction fees: no percentage and no per-sale charge. You pay one flat monthly price.

What will my bank charge?

Your bank sets its own card fees. We can help you understand them when you apply.

Which currencies can I charge in?

Eastern Caribbean dollars and US dollars, and other currencies your bank allows on your merchant account. Your customers see the amount in that currency, like $120.00 XCD.

Your customers

Which cards can my customers use?

Any supported by your bank. Including but not limited to: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club etc.

Is it safe for my customers?

Yes. Customers enter their card on Lefan’s secure page, never on your website, so card numbers are never stored on your site. Risky payments are held for you to decide, and bots are stopped before they can test stolen cards.

Does my customer need an account?

No. Your customers pay with their card on Lefan’s secure page, without signing up for anything.

How do refunds work?

You refund from the order itself, all of it or part. The money goes back to your customer’s card, and the refund is noted on the order.

What about disputes and chargebacks?

Your bank handles disputes. Before paying, your customer sees the order summary and must tick “I’ve checked my order and agree to pay”. Lefan records when they did, so if a payment is disputed, we can give you that record for your bank.
